GPS is an excellent, multidisciplinary, inquiry-driven, field-based, standards-based tool applicable to many subjects, including mathematics, geography, earth science, environmental studies, and more. Ideas for using it in the educational curriculum are found here!
The Degreee Confluence Project
The goal of the project is to visit each of the latitude and longitude integer degree intersections in the world, and to take pictures at each location. The pictures, and stories about the visits, will then be posted here.
115 GPS Lessons from The Lesson Planet
If you are in Kennesaw Hall, at the ETC…you are right here!
EasyGPS is the fast and easy way to transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks between your computer and your Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance GPS. EasyGPS lists all of your waypoints on the left side of the screen, and shows a plot of your GPS data on the right. Use EasyGPS to back up and organize your GPS data, print maps, or load new waypoints onto your GPS for your next hike or geocaching adventure.
